Yoga at the Workplace - Stanford

Posted by Steven D.

Interested in getting a group together at the office and doing some lunchtime yoga? Through the PE, Recreation & Wellness Department's FIT 5 program, they can get a certified instructor sent your way for a subsidized price. You just need 7-10 people.

Sounds like a great program - if I were up at Stanford I'd sure take advantage of this offer. Are these instructors certified through Stanford or just the standard Yoga Alliance certification?
Got a group of about 14 people together in my work area - staff from three different offices. We begin our class in two weeks. What a great program to offer - it's particularly appealing to staff who have limited time to get across campus for classes.

I would be ineterested in joining a yoga group. My office is in the Jordan Quad but I can walk to buildings in the Science and Engineering quad.
