Waking up at 5am I thought my body was going to break in two. I did not go to bed at 10 pm last night, I hit the sack at 11.30. Only 5,5 hours are not enough, I have a long day at work today, I put the alarm clock on 6 am, even then waking up I was really tired, but after just one cup of coffee my body said; "Yoga." I have to once again quote Vanda Scaravelli; "In the beginning you have to make room for yoga in your daily life, and give it the place it deserves. But after some time, yoga itself will pull you up by the hair and make you do it.(From the blog A Yogadiva`s Divine Life)
Luckily I can manage my working hours stretching them a little here and there so I will turn up there at 8.30 am. I will not do a whole program, just some Sun salutations. Today it`s raining so there will be the candles I lit that will represent the energy of the sun.
I have noticed the past few days that when I`m consciously observing the breath in the beginning of practice in Savasana or today in standing meditation, I feel the breath travelling further out as if the whole body was breathing, it`s very relaxing, it must be the yoga-effect. I did only Sun salutations and the meditationpose to let the kundalini travel up my spine. It automatically corrects the areas with blocked energy by making the body move or shake a bit as it travels through, the breath automatically becomes deeper as if it`s helping also to adjust the energy channels to let the energy flow harmoniously.
Now of to work. I feel great!
