The life force linking Yoga, Tai Chi and Reiki.

I try to do yoga as often as I can and I found out something really interesting. A long-time instructor explained how Yoga, Tai Chi and Reiki are so deeply interlinked. He said that the ‘Chi’ of Tai Chi, the ‘ki” in Reiki and the ‘prana’ in Yoga all basically different ways to say the same thing – life force. All 3 disciplines believe that all of us have this life force, or energy. However, because of our wrong life style and eating habits, we block this life force from really flowing through us. Doing either yoga, or Reiki or Tai chi helps us to allow this life force to reach each part of our body, thereby making us healthier. These are all ancient forms having centuries of knowledge behind them, and this may be too simplistic an explanation. But it helped to understand why it’s so beneficial to do these exercises.
