Satsang ,a traditional activity in the Indian spiritual context , means " being with good & righteous companions ".

It felt that way this afternoon during the benefit event for  Yoga Gives Back  at the Electric Lodge in Venice. We were just a block away from Abbott Kinney , currently the grooviest street in LA ; but it was like being transported miles away in the studio.

The packed room had incredible energy as Jorgen led his students  from Maha Brentwood , YA Sta. Monica and a contingent from  Yoga World Long Beach  . We celebrated the end of practice with a vegetarian Indian feast catered by Chandni Sta. Monica.

Thanks to Kayoko , Steven , Jason & all the volunteers from YGB , Ann , Ramona from Yoga World , Liz A. ( Lululemon Ambassador ) , Cara & Jessie with  Lululemon Sta. Monica  &  Sambazon  for all their assistance , support & generosity.

As our teacher expressed , it was fitting that the new YGB video was shown before practice. This served to set the intention of Seva , to receive the benefits of yoga that go beyond the physical.
