For over 5,000 years, yoga has been toning muscles and improving minds. Now, in the western world, yoga's therapeutic benefits are a virtual no-brainer. Aside from reducing stress and making for gorgeous gams, yoga can significantly reduce anxiety and depression, reduce ailments associated with menopause and pregnancy, improve circulation, and improve strength and flexibility drastically over time. Break out the mats!
I would challenge anyone to come up with a reason NOT to do yoga. It's great for you. The problem with yoga is the same as with any other exercise. It requires discipline and motivation. I encourage everyone to try out different classes, teachers, books, etc. Yoga is something that you can continue all your life, reaping benefits over the years.
