Is it possible to keep in shape just by doing yoga? I walk a few times a week and do vinyasa yoga 4-6 times a week.

An asana practice, which is not Yoga but merely a sliver of yoga, used as a physical activity for the purposes of burning calories, is as effective as those things which burn the same amount of calories. So the question, as it is currently constructed, is best posed to a certified personal trainer or functional strength coach.
