How Are You Going Through Life: One Buttock or Two?

With a title like that, you're probably wondering what the heck this post is about -- and how it relates to yoga. This little goodie comes courtesy of my friend Marie Forleo. Benjamin Zander, a lover of classical music (and a conductor), delights in this 20-minute TED talk. If you're patient and you listen to it in it's entirety, you'll be glad you did.
Hmmm...classical music and yoga. How do these relate, you may be wondering. Let's see -- he talks about being in our head rather than in the moment, the feeling of coming home, living with passion, the joy of the journey rather than the destination, vision, transformation, and your way of being in the world. Yes, there are a lot of wonderful parallels between yoga and this delightful talk. The way Benjamin feels about classical music is the way I feel about yoga.
Still, it doesn't matter whether your passion is classical music or yoga -- the lessons are the same.
