Entering samadhi in the yoga postures

I went to a yogashala for a self practice donation class and had a wonderful male teacher that helped me a lot with alignment and also work on my arm and shoulder strength. He pointed out the importance of spreading the toes as well as the fingers in most poses to let the energy flow all the way out to the toes and fingertips. It makes a big difference in getting the energy to flow.
