Choosing the Right Yoga Clothes

Posted by Nirmala N.

Lots of yoga buffs I know swear that the yoga craze nowadays is all about the clothes rather than the poses. I’m not advocating consumer fixations over the more therapeutic benefits of yoga, but certainly, yoga clothes are important and should allow your body to move freely through your asanas. Whether or not you go for loose-fitting clothing that allows you room to move, or stretchy, snug lycra so your clothes don’t get in the way of your poses, it’s important to choose what’s right for you. In general, choosing yoga garb made from pure organic cotton or even hemp is preferable—these are options that enable your body to breathe well and to absorb sweat so you stay dry and comfy. Cotton and hemp tend to have high moisture absorbency, which make them great choices for activewear.

This blog is more important for the yoga buffs. The clothes you choose should be absolutely comfortable and they should facilitate free movement of body parts. Prefer buying stretchable clothes made from light cotton material as they will help the free body movement.
