This morning at work, I mustered up enough discipline to walk away from our team’s donut box, empty handed.About 10:30 am, I was hungry for breakfast and again, said no to the one lonely donut that was left in the box. Instead, I opted for a bowl of Cocoa Krispies. Better choice? Surprisingly, it was NOT! That bowl of cereal (not counting the soy milk) is 250 calories and a whopping 29 grams of sugar…while o ne glazed cruller from Krispy Kreme is 240 calories, but only 14 grams of sugar. No wonder I hit a nasty sugar crash.
