WHY DO OVARIAN CYSTS OCCUR AFTER PARTIAL HYSTERECTOMIES, AND WHY DO DOCTORS WANT TO WAIT AND WATCH INSTEAD OF JUST REMOVING?

I TOO MAY HAVE OVARIAN CYSTS (WAITING FOR DOCTOR TO CONFIRM CT SCAN).  MY PARTIAL HYSTERECTOMY (KEPT OVARIES) WAS 1 YEAR AGO.  I HAVE BEEN COMPLAINING ABOUT PAIN AND NOW I FIND OUT THAT ONE OF THE CYSTS IS 7.0 X 4.2 CM.  THAT SOUNDS LARGE TO ME.  DO YOU KNOW WHAT SIZE YOURS ARE?

I am 38 and had a partial hyst almost 10 years ago.  I have suffered with cysts since I was in my teens.  I STILL have complex cysts on BOTH ovaries.  They have become larger over the years and much more painful.  My doctor is concerned it is masking ovarian cancer.  I have had ultrasound after ultrasound after laser sx after laser sx.  I am sick of being tired, sick of being in pain, and just sick of it all.  I am wondering if I need to be concerned, find a new doctor, or just get over it already and let him take my ovaries?
