Betty White has been in the media news a lot lately. There is a huge push for her to host the Oscars , after a successful stint hosting SNL . I admire Betty White who, at age 88, is still going strong, working, loving, laughing her way through life. For me, she represents staying the course of life and living your dreams no matter what what life throws your way.
These are motherless women, gutsy women, women who were discriminated against and women who pushed boundaries. Even though I may not always agree with everything these women say, do and believe
in, I admire their ability and drive to make their statements in bold and dramatic ways.
It's easy to get discouraged in life. Many of my clients lament that
"it's too late" to create the life they want. Statements like this are often rooted in fear and lack of a clear path. I think that one common theme in the women listed above is they didn't/don't let anyone rain on their parade. It's never too late to rework your life. There are many vision killers out there, people who live in fear who are more than willing to point out why you can't achieve your dreams. Take your life in your own hands and don't let anyone tell you that you aren't good enough, smart enough or talented enough to make your life what you want it to be.
Your life starts new everyday, make it a good one.

There are many other women I admire:
