what treatments are there for someone withe cirrhosis of the liver that was not an alcoholic

my mother found out yesterday she has cirrhosis of the liver and the dr. told her she might have 4 to 5 years to live.  i need to know what to do to make her as healthy as she can be for how ever long she has.    thanks,   christie
