what is swelling of the thyroid isthmus

 Dear Doctor, plrase supply answer 

I am a 29 years old Jamaican, who discovered a lumpes on the thyroid. The doctors report is that a 2.5X1.8x2.1 cm cystic area at the inferior aspect of the isthmus of the thyroid gland. ECHOGENIC DEBRIS IS SEEN within it and a single septation is noted. What is that.
