what causes tingling in the lower left side of skull?

Posted by jolie

For about two weeks there has been a tingling feelin in my lower left skull area. There is no pain but perhaps a slight numbness. I am 73 years old and very active with sometimes strenuous yard work, which I enjoy. Can you tell me what is the likely cause of the tingling? It is frightening and annoying.

Thank you for any help.

Any sort of tingling should be checked out by your doctor. If you experience any sort of slurred speech, loss of vision, be sure to be seen in the Emergency Room right away.  This could be anything from a pinched nerve to a virus to something more serious.  Won't know unless you get it checked out.
