We have met so many awesome women on this journey of establishing the Bikinis and Bifocals image and attitude for women over 40. We have met women either in person or those we have only met through the Internet.
One of the women we have met through one of our many connections via this site is Carrie Flintom. Carrie is an awesome woman. She is a life coach who knows what a life transformation is all about.
Over a year ago we were contacted by some women we know who loved our story and wanted us to share it with Carrie. After sharing our story with Carrie, she asked if she could use it and feature us as one of the many women we would feature in her upcoming book. Well, of course, we were so flattered and welcomed her invitation.
I never really thought about the book after that. I trusted that what she was doing would be something that would inspire women and broaden our connections. In fact, I was recently going over some old emails and ran across hers. I wondered what was the status on the book. Not long after that we heard from Carrie that her book was published and she wanted to send us copies!
Of course I am greatly flattered that she mentions Bikinis and Bifocals in her book. Her book, Heroes in Heels is such a wonderful journey for women to awaken the hero within. She shares with us her transformation and her journey as well as provide the readers a platform to launch their own transformation and self examination.
Heroes in Heels delivers a fresh approach to create the fulfilling life you’ ve always dreamed of living. Through a simple daily process that takes just minutes a day, you will enjoy personal heartfelt stories, inspirational quotes, positive affirmations, and brief journal entries. These key elements are the natural building blocks which provide the foundation to living the magnificent and rewarding life you deserve.
Heroes take the form of so many different women to us all. It is such a great opportunity to read stories that inspire us all. Take the challenge . . . because, as Carrie puts it, not all Heroes wear cape! Enjoy! And thanks Carrie for including Kim and I among your many heroes.
