Studies and our waistlines show Americans tend to eat more during holidays. Now that we are in the new year, many are looking to shed a few pounds and get back into shape. However, new studies are showing that many people eat more on the weekends than during the week regardless of whether they are watching their weight or not. The issue with this is that there are many more weekends than holidays. A recent study showed that participants ate more on weekends than weekdays at all three meals and took in as many as 400 + calories more on weekends. If you are looking to lose weight, be extremely diligent during the weekends just as you are during the weekdays.
