Walk Daily, Ride Daily or Treadmill Daily

You have to get your exercise, every day without fail.  Especially if you are overweight, this gets even more important. Your future is involved with making sure your body gets exercise, no matter how inconvenient it may seem.

Experts tell me a person needs 30 minutes of brisk walking daily to maintain good overall health. Take a walk and start out slow and easy, then work up to the faster pace.  Walking on a treadmill?  Start out at about 2.8 and move up a bit every other day.  

Riding a bike is the other alternative but really, it should be combined with walking too.  I ride one day, and then I walk the next. If it is raining I use the treadmill.  Don't have one?  Go to the mall and walk around it 3 or 4 times and carry a 3 or 5 pound dumbbell in each hand. 

Laziness is our most difficult disease to overcome.  We can easily put this exercise off for the next day, but for many that next day never comes.  In the US, we have a population of millions of overweight men and women who simply do not exercise.

Doctors and hospitals report that they are seeing more and more women in their 40s who are totally out of shape, coming in with heart related problems. 2 factors contributing to the problems are:  Overweight and Sedentary Behavior.  Get up, go outside, walk or ride and improve your health.
