I had surgery on my left elbow on Dec. 1, 2009 and was intubated. Woke up hoarse and have been since that day. Went to ENT and he feel the left vocal cord is paralyzed and now I have a nodule from the irritation of the tube and straining my voice. I am going to a vocal cord specialist in NYC. Will my voice return to normal?
