The Secret Hanging of Delara Darabi

One day after an excited Delara told her parents she had been extended a two-month stay in her execution, 22-year-old Daraba was hastily hanged by local Iranian officials for a murder to which she confessed at age 17 to spare her older boyfriend. She was hung in haste and in secret presumably to quash the growing worldwide attention being given her case.
