Setting Limits on Food Intake This Holiday Season Can Be Helpful To Weight

As we approach the holiday season, how can we limit the damage to our weight and not get out of control? A new study has found that certain things must be in place to be successful in limiting consumption. First, they found it is imperative to have a mental budget or guideline of calories. This will keep you in line. Also participants also needed to have an active goal of not wanting to consume sweets and the motivation to reduce intake. Without that, there is no reduction of intake. Lastly, labeling information or nutrient and calorie guidelines on the food packaging or in restaurant menus helped people to make wiser choices. If you can follow these guidelines, you can have a holiday where you can indulge but still maintain control.
