I’ve been juicing for the better part of the last year and I try to juice as many mornings as I can. I’ve tried all sorts of combinations and found that the simplest juices with only 4 ingredients are my favorite. It’s the easiest and the best in terms of taste, texture, wallet, and cleanup. I often put my juice in a coffee mug to make it seem more like a morning beverage.
Vegetable for water content (cucumber or celery)
Fruit for sweetness: (pineapple, apple, or pear)
Leafy greens: (spinach, swiss chard, kale,collard greens, mustard greens, turnip greens, really any greens)
Citrus to cut through the greens (lemon)
Juice the ingredients alternating between fruit and vegetables. Whisk well before drinking.
