Recipe: Mango Salsa

Mango Salsa

A sale on mangoes and a salsa was born. Great on chips, burrito bowls, chicken, or fish, it’s one of Steve’s favorites.  I doubled this recipe since we were having company.

Mango Salsa

1 mango peeled, pitted, and finely diced
1/2 red pepper finely diced
1/4 red onion, finely diced
Juice of one lime
1/4 cup chopped cilantro
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1 dash cayenne pepper
salt & pepper to taste

Combine mango, pepper, cilantro, onion, lime juice, garlic powder, cayenne pepper in a bowl.  Season to taste with salt and pepper and mix well.

Makes about 2 cups of salsa
