Uh, holy crap. That is all I have to say about the reading assignments for the breastfeeding module in my newborn/postpartum course.
Reading assignment for this week, into next week Riordan, J. Breastfeeding and Human Lactation, 4th ed. Read chapters 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 12, 15, 17, 18, 20, 21, 22, 23.
Could we have just said --- read the entire freaking book?!?! FYI - the book is 25 chapters, 900 pages. Those chapters above? 18 of 25. Crap. I don't read that much in a week's time on a reading spree for FUN!
This is going to be a very painful week.
Did I mention that this is just one class? I have women's health assignments to read as well. Oh, and take the WH class test by Monday. I actually have those assignments about 1/2 way done.
This is really making me wish that I was certified in lactation. It would make this entire section for NB/PP much less painful and time consuming.
