Pork Chops: The High Protein, Low Fat Meal

Looking for some new recipes to spice up the winter? Here is a low calorie, high protein meal that will make you feel good and is easy to make. 

4                        4 oz. pork chops
                         Low Fat cooking spray
1                        green pepper, chopped
1                        red pepper, chopped
2                        green onions, chopped
1            can         tomatoes (14-oz. can)
1            T.          sugar substitute (Equal, Splenda, Sweet n Low)
2            tsp.        Worcestershire sauce
1/2          tsp.        thyme
                        salt & pepper to taste
1.Spray a deep frying pan with lowfat cooking spray.  Cook pork chops until brown.  Remove from pan and place pork chops in baking dish and bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees.
2. In same pan, saute peppers until just soft.  Add tomatoes to pan and heat until bubbling.
3. Add remaining ingredients and stir well.
4. Remove pork chops from the oven and place vegetables on top of pork chops.
Makes 4 Servings: Serving size = 1- 4 oz. pork chop, 2.5 g Fat, 220 Calories/serving
