Posted Jan 21 2013 10:44pm
In recognition of International Women’s Day on March 8th, we will be hosting a two-hour (120 minute) radio show and on-line conversation with global women’s health leaders. Our official non-profit partner on this important day is the International Women’s Initiative. The aim of IWI is to empower women globally. Through IWI’s programs in women’s health, freedom from violence and economic justice, they research and develop innovative social and individual strategies that deliver resources and support to women and families, research and offer alternative solutions to educate and inspire people to action, and work for an equitable distribution of resources to sustain social changes.
Join Real Women on Health On-Line Radio with IWI leaders, women’s rights leaders, entrepreneurs, policy-makers and advocacy groups to talk about unmet needs in women’s health. We seek guest speakers who have a mission to improve global women’s health here and abroad. Please email Kelley Connors, MPH, here to find out about sharing your mission and platform with Real Women on Health.
