That is the lesson that 91 year old, Grace Foster, shares as she talks to a reporter about her world record breaking run. I teared up when I saw the news report of this inspiring story on the television. There I was on my stationary bike, wondering if the 60 minutes I set to ride the bike would ever be over, when the story was shown on Good Morning America. She became a hero for me, modeling a 'go get 'em attitude' on aging. She says she's not ready to die and doesn't want to sit around and wait for death. What a message! So I told myself to buck up, ride the darn bike without complaint and make a positive investment in my older/wiser self. Thanks Grace, I needed that, aching back notwithstanding, I'll keep rolling along! What are you doing today to invest in your older/wiser self?
