 Is it a period if you only have blood clots?

I have a strong taste of metal whenever I eat or drink. I am not having a period, but when I urinate I have small to medium blood clots. My period should be starting now, but with the clomid the 28 days have been closer to 34. I am on clomid, but nothing else. Do you know what might be going on?
