I think I have post pill amenorrhea or I'm pregnant. How can I tell the difference?

I am on day 35 of my cycle and haven't started my period yet. I stopped taking the pill one month ago. I could possibly be pregnant, but have read that post pill amenorrhea has similar symptoms. I have been on the pill for 9 years. I'd like to go back on birth control, but don't know when if I don't get my period. Can you give any advice?
