I'm a woman and have had a large soft lump on my lower right abdomen for a few years. It hurts quite a bit when I walk.

It hurts when I walk, particularly if I take a step with my right foot. It also hurts when I'm just standing or sitting, and feels like a sharp stabbing pain.  It usually doesn't hurt much or very often, but yesterday it was an intense pain for a good six hours until the pain gradually faded.  Can you tell me what this is?
