I have been to the emergency room once before and the doctor said I had an ovarian cyst. Well, for the past 14-16 hours I've had a sharp, burning type pain on my lower right abdomen. I want to know whether it's another cyst or if this time it could be appendicitis. I don't have insurance so I'm not going to go if it's just another cyst, but if it could be appendicitis then I'll go to the doctor. I'm just really nervous! Thanks!
Ok, take this with a grain of salt as I'm not a medical professional, but have done research online in this area. It appears most appendicitis pain tends to be located around the belly button in adults. One thing doctor's look for is they press down right under the belly button and release quickly. If the quick release causes you a great deal of pain, it's a good chance it's appendicitis. If not, it may be something else. HTH a bit.
