Happiness Is The Key To Life, Less Stress And Weight Control

Are you happy? Being unhappy can cause stress, change your eating habits and affect all facets of your life. For many of us, the goal in life is to be happy and have work-life balance. Research studies conducted between 1967 and 2008 have shown that if you are unhappy in life, you are unlikely to find satisfaction at work. All of the studies examined some combination of job satisfaction and life satisfaction, which is also known as subjective well-being.  The results suggest that if people are happy and satisfied in life generally, then they will be likely to be happy and satisfied in their work. Theoretically, the happiness transcends to all areas of life. On the other hand, those people who are dissatisfied with life, and who seek happiness through their work, may not find job satisfaction. Nor might they increase their levels of overall happiness by pursuing it. And studies have shown more stress and anxiety at work causes overweight/obesity. So the 40  years of studies basically state, find the happiness first then concentrate on everything else. This may also be a key to weight management. This is indeed good information to have since many people define themselves by their work/careers, not necessarily their personal life status.
