As you cook out this summer, look at some lower calorie treats if you are watching your weight.
Here are some 4th of July or summer barbeque low calorie hits:
Vegetables and Dip - Find a light dip, try Walden Farms Ranch dressing- 0 cals, 0 carbs. Cool, crunchy, delicious veggies are a great way to get fill up and get a dose of vitamins and fiber.
Green Salads- Many salads with salad greens will have maybe 20 calories. It’s the dressing, croutons, and extra goodies that add calories. Use a light salad dressing.
Corn on the Cob without butter. One corn cob only has about 60-75 calories.
Sugar-free Popsicles- Sugar-free popsicles have 20 calories.
Sangria- This cocktail can have as little as 80 calories if made with more club soda and with the fruit offers plenty of antioxidants. Don’t eat the fruit and watch your portions.
