Easy Summer Low Cal/Low Carb Party Recipe

If you are “on a diet” or watching your weight this summer and are doing a lot of entertaining or are going to social barbeques, bring an easy dish that is naturally low calorie  that will keep you on track.  Everyone will love it and no one will know that you are watching your intake.

Summer Deviled Eggs

Makes 24 servings

Active Time: 20 minutes

Total Time: 20 minutes


  • 12 large hard-boiled eggs peeled
  • 1/3 cup nonfat cottage cheese
  • 1/4 cup low-fat mayonnaise
  • 3 tablespoons minced fresh chives or scallion greens
  • 1 tablespoon sweet pickle relish
  • 2 teaspoons yellow mustard
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • Paprika for garnish


Per serving: 34 calories; 2 g fat; 1 g carbohydrates; 0 g carbs; 3 g protein
