I am posting this petition for Survivors in Action, a non-profit organization that is well aware of domestic violence organizations and programs that are unwilling to assist victims of domestic violence. I have been struggling to get simple responses from organizations over the last year, as you can see. Sadly and shockingly, these programs are funded by states, corporations, and donations from the public and the funds never seem to trickle down to the victim. I believe that there should be oversight in these organizations and programs so that victims can be assisted with the funds intended for them, and not be given a run around. I am one, one of many women ignored by state funded programs and DV organizations and it's time we sign a petition and advocate for DV reform.
