I have suffered through the same problem. This could meanthat you are getting your period sooner and it will be on a more normal schedule, and it will soon turn to blood. However, you might also have an infectio, and in that case, you should probably try to go see some doctor about your issue. I hope i helped.

Firstly, I've pretty much always had really irregular periods pretty soon after they started just over 3 years ago (late bloomer). But my GP put it down to stress with family stuff which I agreed on.
My last period was 7-12th January 09 and I suppose it was a relatively normal flow. However for the jst over a week now, I've been havign this dark bronw discharge. I think it's getting slightly darker each day and perhaps even a LITTLE bit heavier each day, so obviously not slowing down. I've had times where I've had brown discharge but that would only last around 2 days. I've been reading around the net and it looksl ike over a week isn't anything 'normal'.
Often I do get a little itchy down there but hasnt been really since Ive gotten this discharge.
Any comments? [on a side note, I don't have an OB/GYN]
