I confess..I screamed when I saw this :)People always ask me, why am I beauty queen? There are the obvious "fun" things, like attending fashion shows, or red carpet events. I have to admit, I love the warm messages and hugs I get from young girls that want to follow in my footsteps. I'm in a unique position to use my title to bring my message to an even larger audience than ever before. I challenged myself last year to do something more than just fill a requirement or to feed my ego. I pushed myself to go that extra step in order to make a real difference and contribution to society - what we "pageant girls" like to call, "a crown with a purpose".
