Assemblyman Frank Skartados (D) taking time out for Domestic Violence Victim Legislation in NYS

Yesterday evening Frank Skartados' office called me to schedule a meeting next month after the election to discuss Linda's Law for NYS. I wanted to post this information because he has been the only public official in Dutchess County willing to take a look at Linda's Laws for victims of domestic violence in NY. Victims in NYS and all over the country want Domestic Violence Reform and I am proud to say that Skartados is taking the time to sit down with me and discuss these issues and the laws I am proposing to keep domestic abuse victims safe in NY.
Currently, Assembly candidate Alyssa Kogon (D), has been assisting me with publicizing Linda's Law and is volunteering her time to this cause, especially after the death of two Dutchess County women over the last few months.
Voting time is almost here, and I hope people make the right decisions at the polls this year. We need to pay attention to those who are helping us and making our communities a better place to live. We also need to pay attention to those who are turning a blind eye to important issues like these, and sweeping domestic abuse under the rug.
