i have pain in my wrist and any time i stretch my arm, it burns. what is this?
the pain occurs in my wrist at the base of my thumb about 3-4 inches down. it feels... and typing alot and my wrists are elevated a lot, but the pain started when I was messing with my dog.... the pain does not radiate to any other part of my body it's just in my wrist and some of my forearm...crap

i have had pain in my right wrist and thumb,where the thumb meets wrist after a fall

Arthritis and the weather
I have osteoarthritis.  My hands - specifically my wrist and thumb joints - have been especially and increasingly painful over the past year.  Until the last few weeks...   While there is still some pain and diminished flexibility, I am experiencing much less of both lately.  Can there be some truth to the old...crap

can osteo arthritis cause permanent pain or would it be intermittent
I have had a pain in my wrist - just above the thumb joint for about six weeks - pain killers do not help, they just dull the pain and I have tried wearing a support but this just makes it worse.  I have had an x-ray which showed up the beginnings of osteo arthritis but I thought this would just cause pain...crap

New to RA, and very curious about others initial symptoms

I returned to my doc after a long period of constant pain... and had me make a pain chart for the same 10 days plus 10 days without pred. The prednisone was fantastic, the first...crap

My Story :-)
About 6 years ago the pain started as a slight pain in my thumb.  It would come and go from time... and she told me to take ibuprofen.  I took the ibuprofen a couple of times a week and it relieved the pain... aches and pains in my hands off on that.  Four months later my blood tests are showing I'm very anemic...crap
