Sounds like it could be an infection.  I would advise you seek emergency diagnosis froma dentist or hospital emergency room before it spreads into your neck or brain.
A burning feeling often is indicative of a pinched nerve. It doesn't sound like a dental problem per se. Have you twisted/injured your neck recently? Maybe slept on it wrong? It wouldn't hurt to see a doctor if it continues.
