Turning a "worst moment of your life" into a real plus
I found out I had breast cancer in 1993. I had a partial mastectomy and lymph nodes taken out. While I was doing radiation, I took up kayaking, computer art, and stopped drinking alcohol almost totally... different. I met a new community of kayakers, went on several ocean trips, began a whole new career...crap

Reducing cholesterol/LDL/triglycerides & Increasing HDL
days/week. Go hiking/kayaking/rock climbing, etc - on weekends.   Not taking medications right now...crap

How to handle changes in the seasons emotionally without feeling "Down"
. Even though I love to Kayak, it takes me a while to "Get Started" as does my mother love my...crap

Is medication necessary or can diet only work? What's best medication and diet?
My current lipid panel results:   TC=360; Triglycerides=549; LDL =199; HDL=41.   I'm non-smoker. BMI=29. Work out 3 times per week. Hike/kayak/climb, etc on weekends.Couple glasses wine or 2 beers very evening. Enjoy cheese, BBQ. tuniscrap
