Why do my arms hurt and have limited motion when at rest only?

I have little pain and almost full motion in all directions When i stop and sit down or sleep my upper arms hurt painfully and the only relief that I get is by iceing them or exercising them again . Excercising with COPD
I have been doing some weightlifting. I am a 60 year old female and was diagnosed with COPD... below 90. I don't think I can lose weight unless I can get cardio. I feel I just have to try to lose some weight before this get bad enough for big steroids. Smaller stomach and chest I think helps...crap
Consuming fat after a workout?
I havealways been taught/told that consuming fat after a weightlifting workout is counterproductive as it slows down digestion and inhibits the flow of protein to the muscles.
