When should I schedule last chemo?
I am being treated for invasive ductal carcinoma of the breast, Triple negative, Stage IIIa. I have had a mastectomy and have completed 4 out of 6 treatments of TC (taxotere and cytoxan) 3 week cycles. My 6th treatment should be scheduled for Thanksgiving Day, but the clinic will be closed. My friend has been diagnosed with Invasive Ductal Carcinoma, stage three. We live in the state of Georgia. She does not have health insurance, and has no way to fund treatment. can one just carry on as usual? is it because I've been unhappy?
I've just had the biopsy results: I have invasive ductal carcinoma. I've been feeling wiped out by the biopsy, but I expect that I should recover from that soon. But thereafter, can I just expect to carry on with my normal routines, going to the Y to lift weights etcetera, before the treatment begins...crap
