I have asked prior but would like to clarify. I am having persistent thrush, peripheral neuropathy..., would you still be suspicious of HIV? 2) could the tests I have had miss an odd strain/subtype/crf/group/HIV-2? 3) could I be further into the disease and tests not picking it up and missing it? 4)What more can I do rule out the possibility of HIV...crap

It started with Peripheral neuropathy after 4 weeks of a low risk exposure. It followed... and armpit. I tested negative on 7,8,10,12 week's Elisa Tests. Still I have PN and swollen lymph nodes. I am going to do a 4 month's test next week. Is this 3 month window period is a myth and anybody tested...crap

Can Emotional Stress Cause Peripheral Neuropathy
My sister had a brief case of peripheral neuropathy.  All the tests came back negative for an organic cause (a few are still pending but the dr. doubts they will turn up anything).  Is it possible that long-term untreated depression and anxiety can cause a brief episode of neuropathy? Huntercrap
