I just read on "thebody" about a person who just tested positive and he had a burning tongue. I have this too...when I went to the doctors for it I was tested and it came back negative ( was wayyy past... STD.

If you are doubting your previous test result, then just go in and have another test...crap

I tested positive for HSV.Can taking Valtrex cause a negative HSV result even though I may be +?
I was having vaginal burning and tested positive for HSV. The dr did the test where she couldn't tell if it was HSV 1 or 2. I started taking Valtrex as a suppressive therapy. A few weeks later I decided I wanted to know which HSV I had been exposed to and got tested while I was on the Valtrex for HSV 1 and 2...crap
