What else could it be?
Many people post on here that symptoms of HIV could be a multitude of other things.

I guess... these same symptoms. Glands will swell naturally, it's part of their job as the immune system.

Everywhere I read it says an early symptom of HIV is swollen lymph nodes. Is it only an early symptom of HIV or is it also a symptom of someone who's had HIV for some time, possibly years?

Here is my story. 6 Dec 02... you can not diagnose by symptoms, I just want some insight from others experiences/knowledge.
I am scared... from others.

I've been infected for about 2 1/2 years, have no symptoms (apart from a few slightly swollen nodes) and am otherwise healthy.I have recently developed a fairly severe sore throat, and on closer inspection (by shining a torch to the back of my mouth) I could see some white patches right at the back...crap
