Congestive heart failure question
I'm told that because of the edema in my husband's ankles and feet, that he has congestive heart failure.  I'm confused, I thought CHF meant there was heart disease from heart attack.  Now he is on Lasix in addition to his other medications for dementia, behavior and anxiety. Patticrap

I started to get edema in my lower legs, including my feet,ankles,and calfs and behind my knees after my 4th dose of chemo. I now have finished my chemo 4 weeks ago, on herceptin only now. My legs are normal size when I wake up in the AM, but within 3 hrs they begin to swell again. Is this from the chemo...crap
