doc's want to try a intrathecal pump.
My husband was recently turned down thru our insurance for a spinal cord stimulator.   They deemed this procedure experimental. Now his doc's want to try a intrathecal pump. Would this have just as much effectiveness as the spinal cord stim. Were running out of options. He's in a state of pain 24/7. Thinking...crap

I was wondering if someone could tell me about the surgery that comes with the Spinal cord stimulation, does the actual implanting hurt while your on the table? I have possible hyperparathyroidism an now wonder if the brain and spinal cord lesions were really calcium deposits all along. My MS has never been like any other symptoms I have read about. My legs just get tired after about 1-20 minutes of activity but then after resting I am fine again. Sandye71crap
