when a mri or a ct scan is done on your spine.cervical & thoracic area. would it show if there was a problem under my shoulder blade. had cervical herniated disc surgery . i get a sharp pain under my shoulder blade. had surgery oct. 8 2008. in physical therapy but still have good days and bad days. neck...crap

my 16 year old son has had a headache in the right for four weeks?
He has had two CT Scans, MRI and several appts. with neurology. Tried many meds from Aleve to Mitrin to Vicodin and now Elavil. I have pain in my left shoulder and my muscle in that area is imflammed.

I had Cervical Fusion, C 5-6, 89 days later I fell of a ladder backwards off my front porch and
landed on my shoulders and the back of my neck.  The fusion was not disturbed, but after CAT scan and MRI diagnosed 'enlarged disc' above fusion protruding into nerve column.
