ShellfishAllergy
I have a shellfishallergy -- not terminal, but not pretty either. I always make sure at a restaurant, when ordering a fish dish, or even meat with a sauce on it to tell the waiter I have an allergy and to ask that my dish not be cooked in any pan that has also been used to cook shellfish.

Can a shellfishallergy be transferred through the actions of deepfrying in the same oil other foods
I am a chef and would like to take the utmost care in serving my customers.
I cant find allot of information whether frying shellfish and other foods in a deepfryer will cause allergic reactions.
I thought that perhaps with the high temperature of the oil, it kills any bacteria and toxins that can be transferred.
